Bunkyo Gakuin Bunkyo Kindergarten


Bunkyo Gakuin Kindergarten was established in April 1954 and boasts a 52 year history. Since its establishment the kindergarten has offered classes to students who are three-years olds and continues to provide practical education that is in line with the times. Students' educational needs are catered to at each level of development. For example, the youngest students are encouraged to develop an international way of thinking by studying English and kindergarten classes are taught using the latest English language education research.

 

 

Bunkyo Gakuin Fujimino Kindergarten


Bunkyo Gakuin Fujimino Kindergarten was established in 1966 in response to strong requests from the local community. At that time the population of the southern areas of Saitama Prefecture was booming and infant education was also becoming popular, meaning that the number of children seeking places in kindergarten was growing each year. The kindergarten has been located on the Fujimino Campus since its establishment and it also serves as a location for practical training for students seeking to become future educators.

 

 

Bunkyo Gakuin University Girls' Junior High School

Bunkyo Gakuin University Girls' Junior High School was established in April 1947. The school is in Komagome, a location that combines a rich natural environment with the convenience of the city center. Although it is in the center of Tokyo the campus is spacious and offers a quiet environment, making it a perfect location to study. The motto of the school is "sincerity, diligence and benevolence." This demonstrates the school's specific goal which is its aim of achieving independence for women in educational terms. Under the school's motto, students gain discipline and manners through daily activities such as practicing their table manners and greetings and participating in cleaning chores. In addition, the school places particular emphasis on English education, science, and math. There are also a wide variety of events, club activities and committees that combine to provide an environment in which each student can find their own individual character and bring out their own potential.

 

 

Bunkyo Gakuin University Girls' Senior High School


Bunkyo Gakuin University Girls' Senior High School was established in April 1948. It faces the famous Rikugien Park and is in the Komagome area of Tokyo; a location that combines a rich natural environment with the convenience of the city center. Although in the center of Tokyo the campus is spacious and offers a quiet environment, making it a perfect location to study. The motto of the school is "sincerity, diligence and benevolence," and in addition to cultivating ladylike manners the school also aims to provide an education that will allow its students to achieve independence through education. Under that objective each student is provided with a variety of choices to maximize their own potential. Classes are divided into four streams (the advanced stream, the science and math stream, the English stream, and the literature and science stream) to respond to student aims. There are vibrant club activities and other educational programs that bring out students' academic talents, coupled with many school events. Detailed guidance and support are provided for students wishing to go on to further education, either at Bunkyo Gakuin University or other institutions.

 

 

 

Bunkyo Gakuin College

 

Bunkyo Gakuin College is a co-ed two year college with a Department of Career English that was established in April 1964. A two-course system has been introduced in order to allow students to tailor their education to their future hopes and plans. One course option is the English Business Course which is suitable for students wishing to find a job immediately upon graduation. It helps students to acquire practical English skills that can be put to immediate use in a real world environment. The second course option is the English Communication Course which is an intensive course focusing on high-level English language learning. It is suitable for students seeking to transfer to Bunkyo Gakuin University or another university or embark upon one course of study overseas. Classes are small, with no more than 20 students attending an English skills class and the instruction is provided by native speakers. There are many unique classes being developed and offered to students, such as "Rakugo in English." In addition, students enjoy a high job placement ratio after graduation. Students benefit from Bunkyo Gakuin College's employment support system that provides job information in a multimedia environment and they also benefit from the high regard the college has in the business community becouse of its 40 year history of educational achievements.
